Saxx, try making sure you don't have other Flash windows up. I'm using the Sound Spectrum analyzer and it doesn't like to share with other flash apps. Close any YouTube windows you have up and try again please.

Recently, I made my own PP photos using http://www.epassportphoto.com/
This is a great service - It creates a jpeg file from a picture that you upload, and you can choose the "free" option in which you can save the jpeg file with 4-6 pictures in one frame (A 4" x 6" photo can yield 6 pp photos of 2" x 2"), and take it to Walgreens/Costco/Kinkos for a printout for $0.25 each. Otherwise you pay about $8-$12 for 2 photos at the same stores!!
For a family of 4, this equates to savings of ~ $40!!!
The site has all the tools for meeting various types of visa/pp/etc photo requirements for various countries.

HI,
I know a case where i-140 was deniied similarly. If you dont really trust the attorney, as it looks to be the case, CHANGE the attorney 1st. Go to a big firm like Murthy.They handle cases like this & in my fren's case, it was successfully cleared using MTR in less than a month.
Make sure you have all the documentation needed for ATP and they ask for 1 out of 3, but if you can get more than that, its good.

Excellent. I am new in this cage..but I am proud to be here. I will definetly donate generously for 4 core for future lobbying. Also I would think..we need 2 avoid anti-immigration media such as CNN etc. I saw WSJ, Business Week, CNBC(Brian William news at 6.30), CNBC Maria, Washington post, New york time and some other local news paper helping us with covergae on this issue. We shouldn't be helping Lou dobb's kind of guys to boost his ratings. I decided to stay away from that chap!! and CNN. USCIS will give you 2 years EAD if there is no visa available for you i.e. if your PD is currently retrogressed, although we got 2 years EAD in August 08 when our PD was current, which gave me a fair enough reason to believe the "no visa left for EB2 I/C" news that was floating around then :)

Replacement EAD means replacing lost EAD, and only 1-year EAD will be issued. Most people apply for EAD renewal, which is OK for 2-year EAD.

You are still on H1 status. Why do you want to apply for AP. Get your H1 stamped when you leave the country and you can get in on H1 status.

This a good beginning to pass sub commitee in House. Chances are more in passing house if it comes to floor. Will it come? Actually anti immigrants were late in reacting sub commitee but they are targeting Senate more aggressively than house. Might be their aim is to filibuster in Senate with a few Senators.Time is a problem now. Only a few weeks are available before dec. May be if they cut short debates it is possible to pass as law. Looks like house leadership is determined to pass. Still the house bill tells that implementation will be on next fiscal year. If the bill is signed as law after oct it will be implemented on oct 2009 unless they change the date

Pl advise on our situation
My wife is going to start her masters here.
My I 140 approved in EB3, with PD May'2009.
Few people are saying not to shift her visa from H4 to F1 as anytime, some miracle is going to happen and we would be able to file I 485.
Need ur advise on my situation i.e, whether to shift her to F1 status:confused:.

I sumited my wife's & my I140 and I485 together in this July 2nd, 2007. I'm the primary applicant and in EB3 category. I already got receipt and the requesting for fingerprinting. If i file a divorce now does it going to have any effect on my processing?

Transferring cases saying that it is to speed up processing which essentially delays processing maing us wonder if it is a time buying tactic to cover inefficiecy.
An application filed in August if not transferred to NSC would have had ND and RD as August, but now it has Oct. Rubbing salt on the wound NSC is processing 2006 and 2007 cases and not picking 2004 cases.

if you received the notice, then it is probably a courtesy notice. USCIS will only send the actual approval notice to your lawyer. so wait for the lawyer to let you know.
