I'd like to see more screenshots from earlier OS X too. :D I would boot one up if I had extra old computers laying around right now.

I got the Incase Neoprene sleeve for the MacBook. I didn't see a way to select color or sizes so I assume they're sold out on the other types.
It automatically jumped to the 13" sleeve in black. It's the one I wanted anyway. It's not bad for 28$CAD and free shipping. The off-brand ones on eBay are 20$USD without shipping anyway.
I'd still prefer one with a hard nylon shell but oh well, this fits better inside my bag. Roomier too.

That isn't it, because I can change the scores up or down (by TWO points) at will.
Yeah, I see what you're saying. I was able to change the vote on your post back and forth from 1 to -1 with one click.
On a side note, before I start a new thread about it, is anyone having issues with the ability to view PMs? I'm getting a "fatal error".

It doesn't look fake to me, but who am I to judge?
Anyways, I'll welcome that screen.

I hope it's bigger (the screen) than it looks. Almost doesn't look worth the upgrade. From a 3.5 to a 3.7? Sheesh

i don't even know why people bring up the apple ecosystem. this has nothing to do with that. of course deals like this will run into multiple renegotiations, as you have the majors all trying to come up with mutual agreements within themselves first, which can be a long drawn out process in the corporate world. this is not just google going on a one on one meeting. the music industry today has changed from just a year ago with record labels trying to come up with new ways to reinvent the industry, as sales have continued to decline. it's more important now that they come up with a more beneficial deal when it comes to digital sales.

I'll buy one when it gets a capacitive pressure based screen/stylus (Like the HTC Flyer)
Never heard of the HTC Flyer, I'll look into it. The problem with most pressure sensitive devices is that the pressure sensors start failing after a while.

Yeah, I'm paying cash so I'm calling my local Apple store tonight (Stoneridge Pleasanton) to see if they have the newer ones? I doubt it, they always lag on the new stuff. I've been holding off on buying now for a few weeks... Thank god!
So I talk to the Apple store dude who knows nothing about any updates except price. Whay are the chances the ACD I buy tonight is a newer model? How long do I wait?

... people did actually call back after his comments saying they wanted to cancel their donation because of what he said.Well, I stand corrected. That's disappointing to hear. On the other hand, Kanye West's records have shot up to number one in recent days, so he got some publicity out of all this -- and that's what's important.

I thought the Apple Displays might sport an iSight Camera....
Still uping the specs and dropping the price is enough for me

store.apple.com is still near crawl levels. It appears you can shop now (the whole system has been sluggish for the past few hours), but at least the products and the deals pages are working. As FC said, the order review still does not work. My errors range from no errors to connection to database problems. Gotta love Thanksgiving!
No problems for me yet. yay I got a good price on an AP express!

it seem's like you are getting the run around from MS cause they want you to buy another 360 to make them more money. this looks bad on MS part in not doing anything in helping to track down the stolen 360. i thought that is why the unique ID was given to each system just for that case. and the fact they are using the live account, they can also be buying games with it which is like stealing your credit card.
That's a horribly selfish view of the situation. Would you really want MS to give out personally identifiable information about a customer to any Joe Crazyface that calls in?
You need to look at this from their perspective as well. I'm sure the prospect of $50 profit is pretty minor when weighed against the idea of giving personal information on a customer to some guy who just called in. Even if they wanted to, you're not going to get it from the standard customer service department, especially not after their recent "hacking".

 NICE!!! Man, I am green with jealous rage. Makes my 40D, kit lens, and 50 1.8 seem so, so pathetic.
Thanks. Sadly this all belongs to work, but it should team pretty well with my personal 550D.

You clearly don't know much about the medical world. Here's one link just to get things going:
http://www.healthcareitnews.com/news/physician-mobile-use-grows-45-percent
Oh, and here's the story about a hospital that just ordered 1800 iPads...
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/story/2011/04/20/ottawa-ipads-hospital374.html
The first link seems to be saying 4% of doctors read their email on an ipad. Do you think that really matches up with what the advertisement says, is that ground breaking?

So I have not seen my 360 on my network since Friday :(
That leads me to believe they either noticed the wireless adapter was connecting to a network and unplugged it or they got rid of the system. The investigator came back out today and said they need more evidence before they can get a warrant and he doesn't want to knock on the doors of the two houses I think it could be in case they do still have it and decide to ditch it when the cops are on to them.
So basically, I don't have much hope any more of getting my system back. I am thinking of calling the cops and having them just knock on the door and see what happens. Maybe the people are stupid and have the system sitting in plain view and the cops will notice it when they try to question the neighbors.
I'm going to check out my local EBGames again and see if they have anyone that traded in any of my games or even the system.
That's rough.
Have you considered trying to contact Microsoft and hope they could try to track your X-Box with your serial number? It might not work out because I remember a thread here about a stolen Wii and how Nintendo doesn't track their consoles and could end up being a legal hassle, but perhaps Microsoft has a different policy.
Despite the police not being very tech literate, I'm a little surprised that the police couldn't send just an investigator to look like they were asking neighbors about your stolen property.
Honestly, your best bet once you had Connect 360 talking with your X-Box was probably to create a scheme to confront your neighbors, but nobody likes a confrontation right...

What a surprise, Tech Crunch got a story completely wrong
and more importantly the mentally blind apple zealots on these forums blasted Best Buy any way they could because of the story. It's pathetic how some people act like sheep.
